The Beach
Crossing the street - especially in summer - can be like a game of Frogger - to ensure safety please walk 4 houses to the left to the cross walk. There are no lifeguards at our beach. To access a beach with lifeguards, drive or walk South (go right out of our property) a half mile to the Hampton Beach State Park.
The House
We have Ring cameras on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrances. There are also cameras monitoring the parking spots since they are “hot real estate” in the summer and we want the spots reserved for our guests. No cameras are monitored but they do record. Folks who park where they are not supposed to are subject to a tow. We also have a Minut noise monitor systemlocated inside the property in the kitchen/living rooms. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound, but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. If you disarm, obscure or move the cameras, we will have to ask you to leave immediately without refund.
The Marsh
The Marsh is a delicate ecosystem and we work hard to keep it healthy. Please enjoy looking at it - but don’t toss anything over the small fence. If you want to see the marsh up close - there is a wonderful trail in Rye about 2 miles north, called Awcomen Trail. Worth the walk!
